Have any "gi guys" made constructive ones or are they just spouting tradition status quo dogma? Seems like everything just gets more difficult when you take away the extra friction and handles, with the exception of being slippery for escaping. Could that really be enough of a perceived advantage to justify spending a significant amount of your camp on? Maybe some, but then again we don't know how much time BJ spent in the gi or not for his camp. Someone with insider info get back to us so we can move the discussion forward, please.

If color puts you on tilt maybe look in the mirror instead of at another academy's ranking system..?

Oh, skin checks are part of gi checks.

It's always a stop and clear with medical prior to competition as the norm at every major tournament I've worked. We don't strip search ya though so if it's covered it's on the athletes and their academies for failing too teach correct conduct and respect for other competitors.

Can please get non-drama BJJ and mma studies in the new year? Appreciate the content but maybe do some news and useful info, skip the "BJJ Reacts" format a few days a week?
