Mendez brothers have always been shady guys. They screwed over Checkmat top guy to get the RVCA deal. And if you ever go to their academy and your American, they will treat you like shit. I know peopl that have trained there for over 3 or 4 years and never rolled with either bother. They are amazing jujitsu fighters..but as people they are completely shitty and back stabbing people
