2022 PIVOT
.
The last year has seen more changes in a 12 month period than I’ve had in the rest of my years on this earth combined.
.
People like to use the word Pivot a lot lately. When a pandemic comes along and crushes your livelihood, you’ve got to Pivot… just Pivot.
.
There’s no Pivot button in life.
.
What Pivoting is in reality is more akin to treading water to keep from drowning.
.
When you’ve been drained and left with decisions that include cutting ties, cutting anchor and leaving your Country – the days start feeling more existential.
.
But, it’s that feeling of risk – constant risk – that has been the foremost driving force in my life to date!
.
Somehow, with minimal planning and only a rough outline of how 2021 was going to go, I find myself now entering 2022 on the heels of the biggest win in my entrepreneurial career. And one that came in the last few days of the roughest year as a Husband and Father and Provider.
.
For the first time since March of 2020, I have a realistically optimistic outlook for the future.
.
I’m happy to say, in the year 2022, I think I’ve finally Pivoted.
.
Let this year be one of Celebration!
