Prof. Leo D’avila is a Black Belt who’s grade was awarded by Master Benevenuto Antunes. Leo D’avila is an accomplished grappler with medals at the highest level of the sport (US Nationals, Brazilian Nationals, Pan American Championships and World Championships), was also one of the head coaches at the world class and first Atos Jiu-Jitsu Academy in San Diego, California, since the beginning of the team, and having cornered several of the team’s top athletes such as André Galvão, Keenan Cornelius, JT Torres, Guilherme and Rafael Mendes in their grappling competitions.
