<p>Today I&#8217;ll answer a question from YouTube about passing guard in Jiu-Jitsu.</p>
<p>They want to know how to pass all the basic guards: butterfly half, butterfly, closed, etc.</p>
<p>Well, obviously I&#8217;m in a chair, but I think there&#8217;s more benefit to a discussion than just breaking down my favorite pass from each position.</p>
<p>I have several videos on the channel that address specific techniques.</p>
<p>When I read that question It made me think of my own general philosophy of guard passing, which you might or might not find helpful.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s what I&#8217;ll discuss in this video and more. Hopefully, if you&#8217;re struggling to pass the guard in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, then you found these ideas helpful.</p>
