Stuck under mount?

Well, here’s a way to combine classic escapes into a smooth sequence. Start with the trap and roll to create momentum, then flow right into the bottom leg hip escape to open up space and get back to guard.

This chained approach will increase the probability of escape.

And that’s an awesome thing because who really likes being stuck under mount.

If you’re stuck in the mount, this unorthodox escape can come in extremely handy. Like the Goathook, flexibility is a must when performing this escape. Use with extreme caution, only in an appropriate gym setting with supervision from a qualified BJJ instructor, particularly when applying leg locks for the first time.
