This video I go through a simple system to create offense vs a strong stalling opponent. The key to attacking a stalling opponent is forcing them to move and open up, the easiest way to do this is to back up and pull on the collar to break posture, they will be forced to respond to this either exposing and Omoplata triangle choke or a loop choke. When you can effectively mix these systems it’s so hard to stop.

This video I go through my favorite finishes and sequences from the position. It involves matrix, crab ride, transitions to other submissions and more. Also the omoplata can be set up from so many different open guards ( De La Riva, Butterfly, Collar Sleeve, Spider Guard, X Guard )

These 3 Triangle choke setups are really sneaky and I have been using them a lot recently after studying Felipe Andrew. When developing a guard it’s not only important to have good systems and sweeps but also to have some really dangerous submissions that are hard to predict because it keeps your opponent in a level of fear which makes them more defensive. I included conception clips of all the techniques. Hope you like the video and please comment and ask questions if you have any.
