<p>The Ham Sandwich is a compression style submission that has been around a long time, but like many submissions, it waxes and wanes in popularity. I think this is partially because of the trends in guard passing styles, which would explain a lot. In this video, I show some of the setups, entries and finishing details for this extremely useful and efficient submission, as well as what distinguishes it from the calf slicer it is commonly mistaken for. </p>
