This ham sandwich entry comes from diving to seemingly pass de la Riva. It looks more complicated than it is, and it is definitely confusing for the bottom player on the receiving end…which makes it a cool option. If it fails to result in the full ham sandwich, it can still result in a guard pass or even back take.
