In this class, we were covering using the Arm Drag and the Russian 2 on 1 from various positions and exploring its uses.

In the last video, I show how to use both to get to the back from Butterfly Guard and then some details on setting up the Rear Naked Choke.

This was from a series I was doing in my No Gi Classes on my Front Headlock System.

It was a small class (Vacation time) so I decided to show one of my most used techniques as a reward to those that showed up.

*The first part of the video was a clarification on some points from the last technique I taught.

If you play with Guillotines from the Guard, you’ll know that one of the most common counters is for your opponent to pass to the “Safe Side.”

If you Try to keep the Guillotine it is very very difficult to finish the choke and you open yourself up to counter attacks.

But, there is a way to not only keep it but use it to advance your position.
