Today I’ll be responding to the backlash towards recent ADCC Veteran, Brandon Reed, for his success at IBJJF No-Gi Pans (Purple Belt).

Brandon, my student, who has been training just a little over 3 years in BJJ won the tournament along with Michael Pixley, which stirred up a lot of conversation and a video response by Brandon, to said controversy.

I’ll give my take on the situation & address the reality of Brandon’s Jiu-Jitsu experience and his recent competition result. I’ll also explain WHY he has not gotten his brown belt yet.
