<p>Here is a video breakdown of the errors and solutions with the #Kimura that Thug Rose used Against Andrade at #ufc237 </p>
<p>My girlfriend is not trained and much smaller than me, so you have to pardon the clunkiness in the execution. But, I highlighted the two big mistakes Rose made so you don&#8217;t make them in the future.</p>
<p>One thing I forgot to mention was head positioning. I always look to have the head inside for the #KimuraTrap as it will naturally break their posture and makes the sweep easier. Andrade did a good job of switching the head to the outside for a high crotch that allows her to posture up easier.</p>
<p>That said, a good leg hook and shoulder pressure will still prevent the lift. You can check out the KimuraTrap.com website to learn all about the #kimuratrapsystem which has over 11 hours of detailed video instruction that is updated regularly for free.</p>
