Here is a video breakdown of the errors and solutions with the #Kimura that Thug Rose used Against Andrade at #ufc237

My girlfriend is not trained and much smaller than me, so you have to pardon the clunkiness in the execution. But, I highlighted the two big mistakes Rose made so you don’t make them in the future.

One thing I forgot to mention was head positioning. I always look to have the head inside for the #KimuraTrap as it will naturally break their posture and makes the sweep easier. Andrade did a good job of switching the head to the outside for a high crotch that allows her to posture up easier.
