<p>I got a question about the Rubber Guard and specifically if there is any danger to the knees when hugging the knee as well as holding at the ankle to secure the position.</p>
<p>I reached out to 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Brandon Mccaghren to break down the position, any safety concerns when utilizing the Rubber Guard, how to apply the technique properly, is there ever a reason to grab the ankle without holding the knee, the importance of following the opponent, the two styles of rubber guard, and much more.</p>
