The Easiest Way to Submit Strong Stalling Opponents

This video I go through a simple system to create offense vs a strong stalling opponent. The key to attacking a stalling opponent is forcing them to move and open up, the easiest way to do this is to back up and pull on the collar to break posture, they will be forced to respond to this either exposing and Omoplata triangle choke or a loop choke. When you can effectively mix these systems it’s so hard to stop.

A Setup For the Loop Choke That Works Well With The Scissor Sweep

The loop choke has been one of the strong attacks in my arsenal for several years, and I often think about different ways to disguise its setup. That’s why I started adding this entry in.

It’s as basic as basic can be, but it works. And the more threatening you are with the scissor sweep, the more likely it is that you will catch opponents with this loop choke.

A strong stalling opponent on both knees is one of the most annoying things to deal with in jiu jitsu. Often it can be hard to find the submission because your opponent pulls their elbows so tight, making triangles and Omoplatas very difficult, but this often brings their base down exposing the loop choke, this video I discuss the combo of mixing the loop choke with the collar sleeve.
