Depois de perder o mundial de 2011 e passar por um momento difícil da minha carreira onde tive uma série de derrotas consecutivas e cheguei até cogitar começar uma faculdade, focar nos estudos e deixar o esporte como segundo plano, eu sabia que eu poderia ser alguém no esporte, (porque na minha opinião não importa o que você fez nas faixas coloridas, o que conta de verdade é o que você conquista na faixa preta).
E como eu disse na entrevista eu precisei de um tempo para conseguir botar a cabeça no lugar e voltar a ter a motivação e os sonhos que sempre me motivaram no esporte.
E foi essa competição (CBJJE Panamericano) que trouxe a minha motivação de volta para voltar a treinar e tentar mais uma vez alcançar meus objetivos antes de deixar o meu sonho para trás.
Depois de vencer essa competição, que foi uma das mais difíceis que tive ate hoje, consegui não só achar o caminho da vitória novamente mas encontrar razões para continuar buscando os meus sonhos como esse video mostra.
Nunca desista dos seus sonhos, seja ele qual for, e nunca deixe ninguém te dizer ao contrário.
