Faced with incredible odds, the Novos Sohnos Social Project has been getting kids off the streets of Cracolandia, the city’s most dangerous area, and helping them build a better future. Cracolandia is an area of the city that has been overrun by addicts and drug gangs, where violence is a way of life. Lael Rodrigues and his wife Joana have dedicated their lives to making a change from within the community by showing the kids a better way.
