Um conceito que sempre enfatizo em minhas aulas e seminários é Consciência de Posição & Velocidade de Reação.

O início da luta é sempre muito importante, e o primeiro contato pode definir quem tomará a dianteira, impondo o ritmo enquanto o adversário se defende. Um exemplo disso aconteceu na minha primeira luta no @ibjjf Pan 2025.

É crucial “apertar o gatilho” da velocidade de reação assim que a situação se apresenta. No entanto, para isso, é necessário ter uma consciência de posição altamente apurada—reconhecer o cenário em frações de segundo e agir sem hesitação.

What is your training routine like?

Many of the people who follow my work are in the master crowd, though I know younger practitioners tune in as well. As you get older, balancing personal and professional responsibilities while competing in Jiu-Jitsu requires serious dedication and sacrifice—whether it’s time away from friends and family or maintaining a strict diet , all by choice.

I’m fortunate to work with Jiu-Jitsu, giving me the flexibility to structure my training in the best way possible, guided by my strength & conditioning coach @itallovilardo .

The best advice? “Do the best you can with the resources, tools, and knowledge you have now.” Organize your routine in a way that’s realistic, stick to the plan, and most importantly—execute.

And always… listen to your body.
