I can not only lead to some great sweeps, transitions and submission setups, it can act as a counter-measure against some passes and offensive movements your opponent may throw at you. As I mention in this video, I learned this from Greg Nelson some time ago, and I have been playing with it, trying to get a deeper understanding and make it my own.
