<p>This is the longest video of seminar footage I have released to date.<br />
I have been refining this side control escape series for over 6 years, and it is based on a lot more years of study, learning and testing than that. I am feeling more and more confident and proud of it, not only for the escape options it contains, but for the principles it represents.<br />

This seminar took place at Capital MMA &#038; Elite Fitness in Alexandria, Virginia. We cover some basics and fundamental concepts of escaping bottom side control and then we get into some troubleshooting and Q&#038;A that leads to some fun tips and tricks. I hope you like it.<br />

<p>Technical mount, or kneeling mount, can be extremely tricky to escape. The top opponent has submission opportunities and is close to taking your back, not to mention the additional dangers if it is a striking situation.</p>
<p>These are some of the most solid escapes I have learned and that I use to get out of this difficult position. This video offers two early escapes and two late ones from both standard technical mount as well as with the gift wrap control.</p>
