<p>I believe that being able to takedown from the Clinch Positions is crucial to Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.</p>
<p>In general, I teach most of my throws with a focus on my staying standing.</p>
<p>But, in some cases it may be more feasible or easier to go to the ground with my opponent. </p>
<p>When that is the case, these are two of my favorite throws since they can be down from very close range limiting the potential for the opponent to strike you well.</p>
