The Mounted Gogoplata. This is a standard issue gogoplata finish where I reach under my opponents head and grab the ball of my foot with my left hand. The alternative submission could have been the Gigoplata where I would grab and pull the far side collar with my right hand in conjunction with the extension of my gogo leg. Or sometimes I just S-grip my hands around their head and force them to look into my shin while extending the leg.

You can also see that my opponent was originally focused on establishing control of my ankle with quarter guard, and then once the gogo was in place he completely forgot about maintaining the quarter guard. You can see that he doesn’t even attempt to keep the ankle trapped. But it doesn’t matter either way. The submission is there with or without the quarter guard.
