To be honest, I was pretty nervous going into my match last night. Focusing on my dream to become a MMA World Champion @bellatormma kept me away from competing in the Gi for three years & it has been six years since I competed at the Mundials against adult level competition, that had me feeling a little unsure if maybe the game might had passed me by a bit. Would I be precise? Would I hesitate? Would I feel a step behind? These were the questions I had to block out. Fortunately MMA taught me how to let go, be free, & trust in your abilities. I tapped into the Oklahoma kid who fell in love with Jiu-Jitsu & gave his life to this beautiful art. I felt young again, I found my flow state & my therapy had begun. Jiu-Jitsu has always been there for me during the difficult times in my life & it taught me how to never take a moment when I get to put my 🥋 on for granted. It felt amazing to be back & I can’t wait to see my game evolve again. I don’t know how many more years I will be able to last at this level, but I do know that I have dedicated myself to having Timeless Jiu-Jitsu & will do my best to be here as long as possible 💪🏼
