  2. Here's the thing: if you're a smart shop owner, you'll have insurance on these kind of things. Shouldn't let ego get you shot, especially when your money is safe.

  5. She doesn't fear death. That could be a good thing. She's got a 'fuck it' mentality. I personally am not defending money in a store I work at.

  7. not sure if it was stupidity that lead to hear reacting this. or better said, not stupidity alone. it could also be that it was the 3d or 4th robbery that week and she was getting tired of it, considering her smiling when confronted with a gun.

  10. A J-Frame carried appendix would have been great. She could have ducked for cover behind the merch while drawing, and there's almost no chance they would stand around and fight with flying bullets in front of them and the doorway behind them. She could have her preferred weapon behind the counter, but on a gun magnet above her head behind the overhead display, so she could go from "Hands up, don't shoot" to "Eat lead".

  13. Not a win… look like the robbers did not want to kill her but shot to injure her out of spike when she did not comply. I think she probably would not be shot if she comply.

  28. these little independents are caught between a rock and a hard place. the real danger is if the word goes out they are a soft touch. the gun she had was a statement to the contrary. here in the uk ive seen first hand indian shop owners handing out beatings to shoplifters. john it is still a hard one

  32. To me it's not just about the money, it's about society. Almost any time bad guys get fear put into them, it's a win, bullet in the leg or not. She didn't do what she should have, and she possibly could have got to the gun and really went to work on them…but hey, I can't stand when bad guys get anything they want.

  37. Bad thing is she probably thinks she won. She just had an encounter that positively reinforced her botched attempt at self defense! I hope she doesn't try that again, it might not be such a lucky outcome! Iam fairly certain by their reactions to her going behind the counter, that she announced that she was either getting a gun or that she had one.

There really isn't no poll question for this it was just straight stupidity on her part and another thing if you really look at the video look like she knew themcuz if you watch the video it really wasn't no threat intimidation on both ends they must have been regular paying customers at one time

Wow that woman is lucky to be alive that hoodrat could have blasted her point blank in the face or chest when she grabbed at the mask.This woman definitely has BALLS , unfortunately she has more balls than brains,pushing that hoodrat out of the way is probably what got her shot,she should thank god that she survived.i would give her an A for Courage but an F for BRAINS, but she is one plucky woman
