Collar Sleeve System: Outside Control

So there are two different types of collar sleeve control 2 worlds :
(Outside Collar Sleeve control and Inside Collar Sleeve control)

In the first dvd of this series we cover outside control!! There are two families to outside collar sleeve control:

1) Stepping on Hip
2) Half Lasso on the shoulder
In this video you see my utilizing the Outside control collar sleeve family 2 half lasso on the shoulder on a much bigger stronger opponent.

My developments in Collar Sleeve.
How I developed my collar sleeve was actually through my dela riva. I realized the direct correlation between attacking the upper body and the legs. When my dela riva started becoming super efficient my opponents and training partners began to keep their legs back and their upper body forward. When this happened, I was no longer able to play dela riva. This is when I began to systemize this spot. I saw many people teaching certain ways to play this spot which made me question why?! I saw many people that were good at this spot using brute strength and I felt honestly so weak trying to do collar sleeve the ways I tried to learn, which lead me to creating this way of doing it where you don’t need brute strength. What you do need is to understand when you do each scenario and why!! This is the beginning of the collar sleeve system. Learning how to place your legs with correct BODY POSITIONING this is soooo important. What you are going to see is how easy attacking submissions becomes when you master this spot as well as how much better your Leg attacks like dela riva will become from mastering this position. Why is that? Because the second they defend their upper body what do they do? They give us legs!!
