Everyone (All Belts, All Levels, Adults & Kids, Male & Female) should know these details in order to have a great armbar from closed guard or from guard. At the end of the day, if you hit the armbar from the bottom position (guard) you will end up on that situation where your legs are trapping your opponents arm.

If you want to have a stronger armbar from guard you don’t need to pinch your knees. Actually this won’t help you! Just cross your legs opening your knees at the same time. It will makes a huge difference on your attack!
