I don’t always play my trombone at work, but when I do, it’s for a great reason! Sofiya is one of the many amazing people in our #community and this week she celebrated her 100th birthday! Sofiya is a WWII Veteran who was in her 20’s when the Nazi’s invaded Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) where she lived in 1941. The “Siege of Leningrad” lasted almost 3 years and almost 1 million people lost their lives during that time. Thank you Sofiya for letting us celebrate with you. 👏🏽🎂 🎉
