I got to work with two of our new hires today and we covered some distance management principles and techniques from the bottom in our training room before a few rounds of sparring. Alex swam competitively in college and graduated from Portland State. He’s about a foot taller and about 100lbs heavier, so I’m grateful he took it easy on me.
