I was just recording this because Eugene doesn’t give speeches too often and I wanted capture some nuggets of wisdom. Then he goes an hits me with that surprise spotlight. This is a very special team, full of special people. Savage athletes with big hearts. I’m grateful for my time with these guys, not because they are the best MMA team in the world, but because they are good, level-headed people who know how to make a California jiu-jitsu guy feel like part of their MMA family.
