If you play trombone, you’ve probably wanted to read “A Song For Japan” at some point. I recently got to play that piece with the BelPres Trombone Choir and it was awesome. For those who don’t know, this song was composed by trombonist Steven Verhelst after the 2011 tsunami/earthquake. Trombonists from around the world downloaded the sheet music then uploaded their performances to show support to those in the Tohoku area of Japan. Here is a portion of the arrangement for 8 trombones. There were actually 11 of us that night but I couldn’t fit everyone in the video. #bellevue #police #trombone #posaune #asongforjapan #music #lowbrass #outreach #communitypolicing #servingandprotectingwithalohainwa #protectbellevuedotcom
