“It was important for her to do this whole year as a purple belt, now in this new stage she is going to be able to compete against black belts and feel the black belts, it’s just exciting and different.
“She’s going to be a black belt world champion for sure. I’ve been around for a long time, and I’ve seen many people have her skill level but she’s very special. She has the combination of both skill and discipline. That’s hard to find. For me I’m just glad to be guiding her.”
