JH is one of our department’s incredible volunteers. Born in Berlin, JH eventually moved to the United States and served 9 years in the @usarmy earning the rank of sergeant in the artillery. After serving our country he worked in banking before finishing his career. He has been volunteering his time with BPD for our national recognized team for 14 years, most of which spent at our Crossroads substation. When he’s not helping us, he spends time with his family and is a treasurer and Honor Guard member of the American Legion (post 161).
