I consider this to be more of a Von Flue Choke variant because of the shoulder positioning, but the hand work is very similar to some Ezekiel Choke variations.
This is categorized by most practitioners as a No Gi Ezekiel Choke, understandably so.
But I do think that in order to make this work on good people, you gotta have the far shoulder carrying the bulk of the work in the strangulation.
