Before EBI came along, Eddie Bravo was messing around with different ideas for his new tournament format. Nothing was settled, but the ideas were in place.

We all met up together in Springfield, Missouri and ran a couple of brackets: under 180 and over 180. I got a couple of subs in the over 180 and made it to the finals before Jeff Vale beat me a in 9.5 Minute match. (P.S. Jeff Vale is a giant man-beast and at the same time, a beautiful sweetheart.)

Also of interesting note, Denny Prokopos ran a Kundalini Yoga session early the next morning and only like 10 people woke up and came to it. But it was crazy. He showed us how to do that Breath of Fire thing and he had me hallucinating and seeing all kinds of crazy colors. And no, there was no special 10th Planet medicine involved (not for me, at least). ?‍♀️??

Good times and good memories with some great people. I’m very thankful ???
