The Omoplata can be a tricky submission to finish if you are not very good at keeping control or you are going against a strong grappler.
There are two basic escapes that everyone will try. Ether a front roll or lifting you straight back. I left out the hope over because this can easily be stopped by having proper grips.
With both of these counters you will fin yourself into the same ending position and when you step back over most of the time you will have the omoplata set up and ready to finish.
