Your BJJ Training will NOT be a Smooth Straight Path

Your BJJ Training will NOT be a Smooth Straight Path

Have you ever been injured in BJJ? Have you ever had to sit out from your training and feel like you’re falling behind?

If you’ve ever been in this situation. Then you know that the mental side of injuries is sometimes just as bad as the physical in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

The mental toll comes from the disruption of progress and the feeling of not being able to do something you enjoy.

In this video I discuss this topic which comes based off a BJJ injuries question from Hailey.

I share how the sour of the injuries give you appreciation of the sweet side of training.

I also share how I feel coming off a competition and some seminars.

Even though I’m not injured I was kind of down in the dumps.

I know what it is though. Sometimes when you’re spent or unable to perform at the level you’d like, you just have to ride it out.

It’s peaks and valleys. And you can’t have one without the other.

So I hope this video is helpful if you’re in a situation where you’re injured.
