This is one of my go-to positions from the closed guard, especially with bigger guys.
I’ve filmed 5 options from this position, when you are able to arm drag his arm to the other side. It clears a path for back attacks and several more techniques.
I’ve filmed some basic stuff (although the armbar variation is a bit advanced, because it involves some “fancy grip switching” (as the great @keenancornelius likes to call it).
Of course there are other things to do from there, like the excellent gift wrap, or some gi chokes for example. .
I know it’s less clear than my regular videos and you can’t really learn from them, so I’ll try and post all of these techniques with relevant slow motion details soon.
