  1. While we're building that wall on our southern border, lets go ahead and use some of those men and materials to put one around Chicago too, and Detroit. Who else can name some other wall worthy cities?

  2. Unfortunately situations like this are becoming more and more common. 60 years ago this was a very rare occurrence. Today, it happens quite often. Gun laws and self protection rules are becoming more and more strict… makes absolutely no sense.

  18. I live in Chicago and I almost had this exact thing happen. I know better since I'm a daily ASP watcher. My sister called when I was walking to my car and I got distracted. I lucked out since an Uber drive pulled up right as 3 guys jumped out of the car and surrounded me. But, I walked right into it! Stay off your phone when in transitional spaces folks!

  25. The victim was probably a Leftist college know-it-all who thinks all black people in Chicago are just puppies, and the evil police are the dog catchers, picking up strays at random and throwing them in the pound.

    I doubt he learned his lesson either. I’m surprised he didn’t give them his coat, hat, backpack, wallet and shoes in the name of white guilt and reparations.

  28. Number one lesson out of this for me is keep your hands ready. Could have easily blocked that first punch if he'd just not had his hands out like "what's up what do you want guys", then chopped it the heck out of there with run fu. The perps didn't look armed, but I'm still not going to stick around in a 3v1.

  31. John, how many times have you had to use your firearm in a real life self defence scenario? Also, Same question with any self defence item (pepper spray, empty handed skills, flashlight? etc)?

  37. Should have run fu as soon as the perp popped up. One reason I use a flip phone, a cheep flip phone is not worth attacking you for & it makes bad guys think you have nothing. I keep my tablet & lap top out of site.

  42. John. I love your videos. I been a LEO and since left. I've forced myself to Not be a cop… Not my problem any more. But I've not carried in years. As my state turned into a recreational marijuana friendly region. Boy has the scum of the USA come and messing everything up. I think I'm going to start carrying again. I tuned my 1911 to match perfection and went to the range to spend a few rounds. I had nailed a plastic golf ball about 30 yards. Not bad at all. I'm going to use my level three holster and old duty belt.
