  1. I guess that I should take that butt plug off of my threaded barrel and scratch out the engraving on my slide that says, "Guess what's going to happen after I stick this up your butt". XDDDD

  2. Former LEO here. We had a court case where a young man killed another man while being jumped by a group outside a bar. 3 on 1 was disparity of force, but what the prosecutor went after is this kid's gun had a trigger job and a laser. I'm supposed to be unbiased in my job, but this was a good kid and his attackers were known gang members. The DA claimed that the laser gave him pin point accuracy, so he knew he was killing the attacker and not disabling him. I told the kid before I took him to court to tell his lawyer, if this "pin point accuracy" was the case, why would our kid shoot center mass instead of a head shot? A head shot would have been far more lethal, but all training teaches to shoot center mass. Secondly, it was an issue of altering the manufactures original design (trigger job) to make the gun more lethal. Luckily, the kid was found not guilty and got to go home time served. True story. I can't give specifics because I don't want to dox myself. Just some food for thought.

  3. Don't just delete your posts, file a GDPR data deletion request to the company you had an account with! You can file these requests even if you're not an EU citizen!

  4. Hey John need to hook me up with the weight lost program. How much u lost so far and how long it took you . Looking good sir keep it up

  5. Please your doing it for money which is fine but just say it's why your doing it, as a pastor you are so disrespecting yourself and the church and your channel. It's amazing how money will corrupt anyone!

  6. If you modify your semi-auto rifle to work full auto (without all the required background checks and licensing) you will absolutely go to prison for a long time if you get caught. Many/most cops DO KNOW what to look for too, and they will look. That cool-as-heck auto Glock in The Matrix…can be made reasonably easy out of a standard Glock…but you WILL go to prison if you make those changes without proper licensing. It is not worth it! It is also not worth making any changes to your armaments that can even slightly potentially cause it not to work when needed.

  7. John, interested to hear how you feel about trigger mods, in the defense situation in your home, vs. in public.   I would think there would be a legal view difference.  Thoughts?

  8. As responsible firearm owners, we absolutely must be legit in all that we do with our armaments. The Public Eye is watching carefully and when one does shady stuff and gets caught we all become that bit more shady in the eyes of the law….chipping away ever-so-slowly at our Constitutional rights to be armed.

  9. Modifications with anything should NOT be an issue even with guns. If it endangers the life of you or others, then that IS a problem. It's basic common sense. Be smart, be safe.

  10. As long as you say you shot them on purpose, that you ment to do it they won't be able to use it against you. If you have an accidental shooting your in trouble no matter what. You need to explain the difference between accidental and negligent discharge. Everyone on youtube uses the term negligent wrong. Just because you pay gunsmith to do the work you think your going to put the blame on them?

  11. The courts do not care about any modifications to any firearm. They view all firearms the same unless it is banned. How the firearm was used in the commission of a crime is all that matters.

  12. My feelings, if the manufacturer offers a modification other than what the firearm ships with is ok. I could have a short reset trigger installed in my Sig because it's offered by Sig. Have it installed by Sig or a licensed firearms repair tech. Stay safe, stay legal. Good video John.

  13. One of my battle buddy's in the military. His dad was cleaning his firearm and it discharged. Yes! 100% his mistake he didn't clear it properly. Anyway… His dad lived in an apartment complex and the round was six inches away from hitting his neighbor in the head as she slept. He got 17 years for attempted murder and a slew of other charges. Be careful fellow ASPers. Thanks John, as always great information. ?

Edit: The neighbor didn't press charges. The state did. The state of Mississippi.

  14. Great discussion!
I would also like to hear you discuss ammunition, including the use of overhyped brands such as "Extreme Shock" as well as handloads for SD.

  15. I have a question. Say I have a friend with a pistol that has a “voluntary recall” due to being able to fire if dropped, but they don’t get it repaired. Will they be responsible for an ND if it happens from a drop, or will the manufacturer?
