I have always said, my pain is for a purpose.
I have gotten probably over 1,000 dms from other men that have been sexually abused and never spoke about it.
Actually one of my students confided in me the other day.
You need to understand, it took me 30 years to speak about it, and I was still reluctant. However, my co author @louiejm3 reminded me how many men this will help.
