Lapel tornado to backtake or armbar??
I found something written in an old curriculum and it was called Corkscrew/lapel tornado and I had no idea what it was. The only clue was it was filed under the brabo choke. I was laying down then remembered. The goal is to pass the lapel to an underhook then get the angle for a pendulum or armbar sweep. Keep rotating on your shoulders and get to the far leg. From here use the lever to take the back or line up that armbar.
What’s better is I have talented students I can walk through the steps by voice and still make it look amazing ??
