Since open guard is dropping soon, everyday this week i will post a video of me hitting a shoulder crunch sumi gaeshi variation on a World level black belt. This is from my 1st match with Pena, which i lost. I know haters like to say i got absolutely obliterated and it wasn’t a close match at all, but it was actually an extremely competitive match that lasted 45 minutes way back when in 2016. Pena likes to post this match where be finishes me once a week to live in the glory days. Its so old now i actually had to have it remastered before i was able to post 🤣. Nonetheless, sumi gaeshi is something that John forced us to master very early on. I will be posting one a day for the rest of the week for you all to enjoy :).
