In 2003, Braulio won the Pan American Championship for the IBJJF, as a brown belt, finishing no less than 7 people in just 5 minutes and 24 seconds.

In January 2004, Braulio won the World Championship Middleweight Division and in the same year, received his long-dreamed Black Belt. His fame in the sport grew even more after Braulio won all the major tournaments already in the Black Belt, also managed to win in his division and absolute in the largest grappling event on the planet, the ADCC. 🛡🚀
