No-Gi "Snake in the Grass" choke

Here’s a cool no-gi version of the “snake in the grass” choke. If you haven’t seen that choke – be sure to go and watch it. I had a follower email me a video just the other day with him hitting the gi version of the “snake in the grass” in competition over the weekend! This version works off from the angle of the hand choking the neck. You HAVE to properly align your radius bone on the neck to create the right leverage / angle. In addition it’s the hamstring of the left leg locked to the right leg that creates further leverage to get the tap. Give it a try and as always -Happy Training Ninjas!
