Injana Goodman is one of the UK’s top female Jiu-Jitsu competitors and she most recently won ADCC Trials 2025. Injana has started a petition to push for change at ADCC, increasing the size of the women’s divisions to match the men’s and giving women an equal number of qualification opportunities.
Jits Magazine’s Alex Lindsey spoke to Injana about her experience winning ADCC Trials this year, and what sparked her to draw more attention to inequality in the sport. She also answered some of the criticisms that she’s faced since speaking out about this issue, and discussed her growth of Enyo Grappling; the UK’s first female-only BJJ promotion. Injana also spoke about the support of her coach, Max Bickerton at Grapple Collective, and how she has found their switch to a constraints-led approach in training.
