  5. Its neither. Eddie Bravo has always wanted ebi to be combat jiu jitsu from the beginning because he wants closed guard to be important. Don't let your personal opinion of Bravo effect the reporting of the facts. If anything this will bring in less ibjjf talent and show money at least for the time being.

  9. I think EBI had to change the format because the original EBI was dominated by DDS. Having an IBJJF big name means nothing in the EBI rule set, the big name IBJJF guys are not going to enter EBI the rule set doesn't favor them so they stay away. IBJJF pays shit money so its not the money.
