If Conor uses front leg low kicks to khabibs calves and thighs. It will most likely diminish his power to taking him down from distance with a single leg or whatever move he can pull off on a longer range. The kick by being that low is both hard to catch and hard to cut distance while being hit from it, the only defense to those is literally distance Wich khabib won't appreciate that night.

Khabib might be bigger and stronger than Mendes, but Mendes is alot more explosive and faster to close distance than Khabib, Mendes with his upper body and head movement was also able to slip punches.

Conor's got more of a chance on the ground than Khabib does on the feet.

What funny in the comments sections everybody talking about how Conor is. Improving and how he’s gonna expose and surprise Khabib who is undefeated ???…. it’s like Khabib is in a vacuum and hasn’t also improved and isn’t aware of Conor’s tactic ??…. you people are delusional and blind followers… we’ve heard it all before even the Mayweather haters for 50 fights all doubted him even against Conor and always cane out on top……Conor’s ass is going down and it’s going to stay there

Would have been interesting to include the Mayweather fight in your analysis. Of his opponents, he figured out how to beat Conor on the feet: High guard, land body shots, hit and hold tactics, and control the lead hand. It's possible to walk Conor down if you don't head hunt and only throw the right cross in later rounds. Lastly, instead of the right cross, his opponents should look to land a right Muay Thai high kick in the early rounds, flush, right across the leftarm multiple times.

Conor is much more aware of his gas tank these days and like you say, has made the necessary adjustments which we saw in effect in the Alvarez fight. I think against Khabib we will see a similar technique, pressing but not overdoing it so he's ready for the shot.

Conor is looking really slim witch means he's been doing a lot of cardio so that gas tank is good to go.

This is great and have been waiting for someone to highlight this this fight is a battle of cage control and pressure whoever can back up there opponent to the cage wins. The only time Conor isn’t able to do this is when he’s fatigued. Gonna be interesting to see who backs up first

Conor's big success is his left hand, everything else is window dressing for the left hand. Can't see how he can tag Khabib whilst shooting for a low double/single unless he uses the knees. I actually feel Khabib will take his shots.

Khabib goes for chain takedowns. He doesn't need to take Conor down on the first shot. But as Conor retreats to avoid the takedowns he is likely to find the cage with his back and that's where the takedown will succeed.

Khabib has to use kicks. I know he's not excellent at it but it'll be unexpected and it'll push Conor to push forward instead of the opposite, so he either stays out of reach from Conor's left or Conor will push forward making him an easy target for takedowns, and he can even catch him off-guard with it.

Is it safe to say that whilst khabibs grappling is the best conor will have faced by now(although i would have loved to see Eddie vs Khabib and find out who wins), but isnt Khabib by far the worst striker conor faced in years? Im probably biased but based on footage shown i feel khabib stands no chance at all on the feet. Worse strikers than conor were able to hit him decently. Although not sure if the posting takedown defense works against khabib. Cant wait to find out though.

Conor gets complacent with kicks in most of his fights, if I were creating a game plan, don’t let him get creative throwing 4 or 5 punch/kick combinations, keep positioning in mind, takedown with the head planted on the left side to avoid one shot ko countering
