  19. also to note a very common user of this position was Mario sperry back in the early days of ADCC.
    the combination of controlling the hips with the upper body and freedom of movement with your lower body allows for some dynamic low passing. not very new in regards to strategy but very effective. great vid OSS

  20. Marcelo does a nice passing sequence where he punches the under hook and smashes the hips flat to halfguard and then either goes knee cut or legweave off of that. It's the exact same concept as used here for the most part. I love the breakdown awesome video.
