This video was inspired by a choke pulled off at the 2018 World Pro that I haven’t seen hit in competition, not to mention at such a high level. Kaynan Duarte pulled this choke off from the closed guard, which is also odd since it is typically a top position choke.
Here I show the breakdown of Kaynan’s choke as well as a couple other applications for this versatile attack. Hope you like it!
