Lead Hook Slip to Snatch Single

Lead Hook Slip to Snatch Single

If you have been following the last few videos, then you probably guessed that you could also slip or bob and weave a lead hook right into a take down entry.

My preferred choice is a snatch single leg. Why the single? Because off a hard lead hook, my opponent’s weight will shift towards their rear leg, making that lead leg nice and light. This makes for an easy snatch.

Rather than just snatch the leg, I through a lead hook of my own at his lead leg just behind the knee. With enough force, I can sometimes sweep out their leg just with the hit. Otherwise, I can go into a myriad of single leg finishes. In this video, I opt for switching to a double leg.
