My homemade 80kg kettebell, WARNING, you tie kettlebells together at your own risk. I’m using incredibly high load bearing straps here.
With any heavy swings, notice how long I’m taking to setup the swing, creating the correct tension in my core, posterior chain and correct positioning of the arms. Critical when going heavy.
I think people wrongly assume kettlebells are not as good at developing strength as a deadlift. I think the problem is people get too strong for the weights that they have available. Like any other resistance training, you need to increase either load or intensity to continue building strength.
